I haven't been able to find the reason this was hanging for you. On which step of the signup process did it hang? e.g. when choosing a plan, when submitting details, etc.?
It appears to be working now. Are you still having trouble signing up? -
Inappropriate?Yes, thanks i did manage to register when i tried again a few hours later - though from a different location.
My problem yesterday was simply that the signup and pricing page would not load. The status msg sat on "Connecting to www.scrumd.com/signup, the progress bar sat at around 50% and the tab read "Loading..." I didn't even get to seeing the signup page.
As i said initially, i could load the other pages (Home, Tour, Help/FAQ) no problem, That made me think that maybe the problem lay on your side and so i contacted you. At the time i was using the free internet services at our local library. When i tried a few hours later at home everything went smoothly.
Interestingly i am now at the library again and the same thing happens, can't get to signup page, not that i need to anymore. However, the plot does thicken a little now. When i try to log in, the same thing happens, or rather nothing happens.
Is there a pattern here? Wireless service at home - no problem.
Wireless service at library:
- Home, tour, Help/FAQ, support links - no problem.
- Signup&Pricing, Login - pages do not load.
This is no longer a complaint for me. I'm registered and don't need to come to the library to work in scrumd, however it may interest you.
btw i am using Firefox 3.5.3 on a Windows XP sp3 machine.

Thanks for the additional info Rainer. That is odd. We do cache many of the external pages so perhaps that has something to do with it. We're glad that you are in, and we look forward to your feedback. Look for a UI update coming soon. -
Inappropriate?This may be an issue with SSL. It seems the pages that aren't working for you at the library are the ones using https. Are you able to use other sites over https from there? If so, this may be an issue with the way we have our SSL set up. Otherwise, it may be an issue with the library's network.

Inappropriate?Sorry to reply so late on this, thanks for the reminder. On that day i couldn't use their internet facility at all, then it kinda slipped my mind.
Anyway, i did try again yesterday and i did have a problem with other secure sites as well, so it look's more likely to be a problem at this end.
Also sorry to have pointed the finger at you fellows.
And i must commend you for responding promptly (and persistently)
