Inappropriate?Not sure what you have planned here, but at least the option for something real simple, would be great. A subject line like "Taxi", followed by fields that are comma seperated, like:
"tag:client tag:BigBank",YEN,1200, "Dinner back to Hotel"
would work really well. Allow image attachments up to a certain (sane) size for photos of receipts, and you are done.
Grab the identity of the user from his/her email address and the date of the expense from the date of the email.
That would make it platform independent (cover blackberry, iPhone etc).
Not saying you shouldn't provide a GUI as well. But something incredibly simple would work just as well.
