After pasting an element, can't always move it with arrow keys
sometimes after pasting the element is selected and you can move it with the arrow keys, but often it appears selected but you cannot move it. Pressing "esc" makes no difference.

Inappropriate?Hi Matty,
Is this just a focus-related issue? For instance, I can reproduce something that's at least similar to what you describe like this:
- In the "Quick Add" entry, type "button"
- Press [Enter] to accept the matched item (a button)
At this point, the new button is on the screen and *is* selected (it has a selection rectangle and some drag handles), but it can't be moved with the arrow keys. That's because the application's focus is still in the "Quick Add" entry box.
In order to change focus to the just-inserted button, and thereby make it movable via the arrow keys, you must first click on the inserted element.
Does that possibly explain your case, or is the above completely different?

Inappropriate?Actually, the solution to your problem is to just click ESC before using the arrow keys. Peldi built it this way on purpose so you could quick-add a bunch of elements one after the other (or something). My problem is very similar -- after pasting, the item remains selected -- but the arrow keys don't move it unless I click on it first, and the ESC key does nothing.
I’m frustrated

Hi Matty, I cannot seem to reproduce the issue in the latest build. I selected some controls, copied them with CTRL+C, pasted them with CTRL+V and used the arrows to move the pasted controls. I didn't have to click. What am I doing different?
