Any way to change all local image paths in one step?
I love the new image import feature, but when I moved the location of my imported images to a different directory (they had been scattered on my desktop) all of the image references in my Balsamiq mockups ended up broken. Is there any easy way to tell Balsamiq to change all the file paths for images in a particular mockup?

Inappropriate?Hi Chris, sorry this is frustrating. I think the fastest way to change all paths would be to open the BMML file in a text editor (it's just XML) and run a search and replace on the image paths.

Inappropriate?I ran into this too and discovered it was because my image files were in a completely different location on my machine. Once I created an "images" directory below the directory where I am saving my mockups, and made sure that all dependent images were in there before adding them to a mockup, I discovered that the image paths are all stored relatively. Good job Balsamiq!
Giacamo is right, you can fix the image paths by editing the bmnl file in a text editor.
So the lesson learned is, make sure to save/copy your images in a directory below your mockups directory before adding them to the mockup.
I’m happy
