Anything wrong with Mockups version 1.1?
Hi there. Mockups 1.1 is live. I am starting this topic to collect any issues you might run into with it.
As always, I'll try to fix bugs as soon as feasable, so don't be shy! :)

Inappropriate?Great product, just purchased my license.. However I do notice that the UI can be a bit sluggish from time to time when doing things like copy/paste especially when you have multiple items selected. Not sure if there's an issue w/ the app or if the problem is inherent to AIR. Any thoughts?
btw, I'm running on a Macbook Pro 2GB RAM w/ a 30in Cinema display... -
Hi Merritt, are you using version 1.1 of Mockups or 1.0? I made some performance improvements in 1.1 which should help. Let me know, and if it is 1.1, it would help me if you sent me the XML of the mockup in question. Thanks! -
Inappropriate?I believe this bug existed in previous versions; I just didn't have time to play with Mockups before. Whenever you group a set of objects, then ungroup them, all the components "freeze"; you can't do anything with them (edit, drag'n'drop, etc) afterwards. BTW, I'm using the web-based version on IE7, XP.
I’m sad
-
I am also saddened by this, especially since I can't reproduce it! Here's the steps I tried: select a few control, group them, move the group, ungroup them, notice that the selection changes color, move the controls again. It all works as expected. What am I not doing? -
Inappropriate? Thanks for the lightning-fast response! I just did the same things you mentioned, and at the last step, when I tried to move the controls after the selection changed color, nothing happened: the controls stay in the same place, and I can't select them or do anything else with them.

Inappropriate?I think I found the bug, looking into it. Stay tuned.

My pleasure, you just made my day. :) -
Inappropriate?I have some problems with the horizontal curly brace, when I position the text on top of the brace. The text overlaps with the brace itself.
I’m (just a bit) frustrated
-
I noticed that today too. I'll put it on the list, should be a quick fix -
I fixed this yesterday -
Inappropriate? Is there anyway to create a link to the new Build downloads when you reply here with comments like "Ok, it's fixed. Build 1.1.9 is already alive." I would love to be able to click on the 1.1.9 and go to the desktop download page.(or even better yet -- start the AIR upgrade process from that click!) I'm enjoying the challenge of "keeping up" with the latest!!!
-
Hi Robert, the link is always the same: http://www.balsamiq.com/products/mock... - that's where you'll always find the latest "approved" build.
I could post the direct link to the AIR file, but it doesn't work for a lot of people so I'd rather stick to the badge install. -
Duh...should have known this. Consider it now perm. on my Firefox Bookmarks Toolbar for all to see! Thanks so much for all your doing here. You've got me so excited, I'm reading the Micro-ISV book you mentioned! -
Are we currently on v. 1.1.15? Above says 1.1.9, and the air app upgrade installation refers to 1.1.8 when installing (based on the link you just commented on above), but after running the install the "about" states 1.1.15. -
Correct. The fun never stops here at Balsamiq Studios! :)
