Cannot paste text under Linux.
I created a text label object and cannot copy and paste text in it using keyboard, menu or icon.
Using version 1.6.10.
I haven't tried in other O.S.

Inappropriate? If you right-click, paste is there (along with cut and copy). You just don't have the keyboard shortcut. Not ideal, but not as bad as not being able to paste.
At least ... that is how it works on my linux setup. Are you saying that you see the option and can't paste? -
Inappropriate?I tried ctrl-c, ctrl-x and ctrl-v and none worked for me.
Your suggestion works.
Using shift-insert (paste) and shift-delete (cut) also works.
The issue happens here only using standard shortcuts shown in Edit menu. -
Inappropriate?I'm seeing the same thing in v1.6.13 over Windows.
- Copy from an external source.
- Open a label, ctrl-v or use the context menu and Paste.
You don't see the text in the box but if you press Enter (or click away from the control, you'll see the text actually did get pasted in there ... multiple times if you kept hitting ctrl-v because it didn't seem to work. ;) -
Inappropriate?Looks like while editing text Control button does not working. So I even can't move cursor word-by-word holding ctrl. Absolutely nothing with ctrl works.

Hi Victor, I believe this is a limitation of Adobe AIR on linux. I hope they will fix it soon, but in the meantime I have made a note to see if there's something I can do to work around it. Thanks for the feedback!
