Cannot save from registered Application in Vista
Balsamiq is really great, however on my laptop running under Vista I have the problem that I registered the software but still cannot save mockups. Other 'registered only' features like multiple mockups open, copy snapshot, export, etc are working. When I want to re-register the software, it tells me that it is alreay registered.
Current Balsamiq version is 1.6.25.
I ran it as Admin - no success
I reinstalled it - no success
Any clue?
PS: did I mention: awsome software, works great on my desktop PC with XP :-)

Inappropriate?Hi Bernhard, that's a strange one! What do you mean with "cannot save"?
Do you still see the "you need to register" dialog, or simply the files aren't there?
Can you maybe send me your log files? They are here: C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Roaming\BalsamiqMockupsForDesktop.#numbers#\Local Store
Make sure you quit the app before grabbing the .log file.</yourusername> -
Inappropriate?Hi Giacomo
Well basically, the save-dialog does not show up. If I quit the application, I am asked if I want to save, if I say (well, if I klick) 'Save' just nothing happens.
The logfile looks as follows (hope it tells you more than it does me):

Inappropriate?Hi Bernhard, thanks for the logs, that's very very strange indeed.
Would you mind trying something?
1. Quit Mockups
2. Delete the C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\BalsamiqMockupsForDesktop.#numbers#\Local Store\MockupsCookies.db file
3. Launch the app
4. Make a change and try to save
if it still happens, send me the logs again at peldi@balsamiq.com?
I’m eager to find the issue and fix it, I don't like this bug!
