Combobox and text input resize glitch
Just stumbled across this in version 1.1.46: Add a combobox or a text input component, then widen it a bit by dragging the right edge. You'll get this:
Can't do much with it at that point, and it's even hard to reselect if you click away -- you have to select the surrounding region to capture the component, at which point all you can really do is delete it.
The problem is consistent and easily triggered with the combobox and text input; might also apply to other components I haven't tested. This bug must have crept in recently ... I've done plenty of resizing in the past without a problem.

Inappropriate?Ok so I fixed it and it's the new build is in the oven. While that happens, let me reflect on how much I hate injections/regressions like this one. It also reminds me of the uncertainties of all things in life, and makes me feel careless, which is definitely something I don't want to feel like. I am also reminded that I need to test each build more before putting it live and that I really need to learn about unit testing a bit more...if only Flash wasn't such a UI-centric beast...anyways, the build should be ready soon, I'll report back in a couple of minutes. Thanks for reporting this Michael and my apologies.

Inappropriate?Well, on the bright side, you might have set a new record in bug swatting: this was reported, investigated, repaired, and reposted in roughly one hour flat. With that kind of turnaround, you can afford to be careless every once in a while.
