desktop app refuses to close
desktop app absolutely should not prevent me from closing the window. Absolutely not! If you don't want to have a 'close without saving' confirmation....just remember recent mockups. Store them in the temp directory or something.

Inappropriate?Hello Brandon, not sure what you mean. We only show a dialog on close if you have something unsaved, just like every other piece of software that deals with document authoring I know does. Is this not what you're seeing?
I’m confused

Inappropriate?Sorry, should've been a little more clear. If I have multiple mockups open, and try to close the window, it tells me to save my mockups individually. To me this is a big usability issue, when the rest of the app has been great! You should never prevent me from closing the app if I want to!
See image:

I've seen other software handle this situation decently well. Paint.net will give you 'save' and 'don't save any' options.
But you can't prevent me from closing the app! The first time this happened, I couldn't figure out what I had done wrong, and could not for the life of me figure out how to close Balsamiq! (didn't notice the tabs at the bottom).
My suggestion would be to just remember recently unsaved mockups in the temp directory or something. Then there's no need to interrupt my flow with a dialog at all. Just have a 'recent mockups' item in the menu. But either way, the current dialog is not great.

Got it. I know that dialog is annoying and I'll try to get rid of it. You only get it if you have multiple new mockups that are unsaved (which hopefully doesn't happen very often). Otherwise you get the save/quit without saving dialog you suggest.
