Export as PNG doesn't work (at all)
When I select "Export Snapshot to PNG File" from the Desktop version (on a Mac), the background of my mockup goes white, everything moves over to the left slightly and the cursor changes to a clock, and then nothing happens.
If I move the mouse, it goes back to a normal cursor, but the background stays white and things are out of alignment when I select them (their bounding box is incorrectly aligned with the object).
I don't get an export of any kind.
So right now I have a bunch of wireframes set up... and no way to send them to my client except for splicing screenshots together or something :(
I'm using v1.5.6

Inappropriate?Hi beaulebens, so sorry you hit this bug. Version 1.5 just released yesterday, and evand the roughly 2 months of beta period didn't catch all the bugs. I am confident we can get this resolved today. Also, please email me at peldi@balsamiq.com and I'll be happy to send you a free license to compensate you for the frustration my software has caused you.
Now, on to the problem: I just tried to export a mockup (on my mac) and had no problem, so I'd like to understand a bit more about your set-up to see what might be different: does this happen on a new mockup file with just one or two controls on it? if so, does it happen if you save the file somewhere other than the desktop and then try to export it? if not, could you please email me the file that's failing to export?

I just tried creating a new mock with just a browser window and a few small elements and it exported correctly, but my real mock still isn't working. I'm emailing the file to you now (there are actually 3 of them, and none of them export) to see if you can figure out what's going on.

Inappropriate?Ok, for the record: we found the problem (some UI controls somehow ended up all the way at the bottom of his mockup and 'out of bounds'). I fixed Beau's mockups and issued him a refund.
I'm on to find the root cause of the issue so that it won't happen again.

Inappropriate?Hi emedia, quick question: does your mockup that won't export have some controls all the way down at the bottom (if you scroll down all the way)? If so, deleting those should fix the problem. If not, please email me the files and I'll see what's up.
I had a bug where controls would end up down there, in an "out of bounds" area in some cases. I have fixed the bug a couple of days ago and it will go live on Sunday.

Inappropriate?I've just been burned by this.
My designs took up the entire canvas.. and It took me half an hour of wondering why the clipboard or export wouldn't work.
In the end I moved everything around to reduce the canvas height and it worked.

Tomr, so sorry. What version of Mockups are you using? I thought I had fixed the root cause of this bug a month ago.
