Hide the "edit this mockup" link?
Is it possible to hide the "edit this mockup" link -- e.g., {mockup:my mockup|1|edit=false} -- so that the only way to edit the mockup would be to remove this property, thereby discourage editing?

Inappropriate?Hello Burke...it's not currently possible, but I can think of a workaround. Leave the mockup files in the attachments, but replace the macro with the image, like so: !my mockup.png|align=center! - Then when you want to edit the mockup you switch it back.
I am curious to what brought you to ask for this...why discourage editing?
The other option is to remove the "rogue editors" from the "Balsamiq Mockups Editors" group. -
Inappropriate? In general, I would encourage editing ... of course, it *is* a wiki after all. But in this case I was creating a tutorial page and didn't want the edit link. I also thought it might be useful when presenting mockups as an archive -- e.g., "we decided to go with this UI" -- where you wouldn't want it changing later (I know that Confluence will provide a history, but I still wouldn't want the "edit this mockup" link showing to encourage editing).
But clearly I am a Mockup newbie. The image link works perfectly for my needs.
Perhaps adding a "DISPLAY MOCKUP IN READ-ONLY MODE" section in your Confluence documentation (simply stating that mockups, once created, can be inserted as image instead of a mockup) might have helped.
I have no complaints. This is a wonderful tool you have made. If you ever visit Indianapolis, Indiana, please let me buy you a beer!
I’m thankful
