Idea: Add edit to the property panel...
Problem:
Sometimes when you double click a UI component you inadvertently move it. Even an undo will not move it back. I am not sure why this happens, but my guess is that its because your mouse moved slightly before the edit text control appeared.
I was trying to think of an another way to trigger the edit text control and thought that perhaps the property panel could have a button that you can click that triggers the edit text control for the selected component.

Inappropriate?Interesting. I think I'd rather fix the "move inadvertently" bug than add UI to work around it though. "more buttons = bad"! :) Let me take a look.

Inappropriate?Right click with option to edit would do just fine as well.

Inappropriate?Hopefully this will be less of a hassle since this http://getsatisfaction.com/balsamiq/t... was implemented, but I'll keep looking for the root cause of the bug.
