Improvement suggestions
First: I love working with Balsamiq. But there are some minor things that improve usability and make the workflow more smooth:
1) If I have an mockup opened and click "Save As...", please open the file dialog in the directory of the current mockup
2) Whatever I did and tools I used, I couldn't export my mockups to clickable html+images. I consider this an important feature to be able to send the prototype to my client without requiring them to install Balsamiq
3) A template mechanism (probably based on layers?) that allows to share common controls among several mockups. If I need to change something that affects a whole set of screens, I want to make this change only once. I envision something along the lines of defining one (or several) mockups and being able to include them in other mockups (sort of overlay).
Other then that I am quite happy with the tool!

Inappropriate?Hello Erich, thanks for your feedback. Some answers:
1) that should already work, not sure why it's not working, I'll take a look
2) there are different ways to do this, take a look at http://www.balsamiq.com/products/mock... - also, this might help http://www.balsamiq.com/products/mock...
3) we're working on it. In the meantime, here's a longer answer: http://www.balsamiq.com/products/mock...
Thanks again for taking the time to provide your feedback, we'll look at the "save as..." issue soon!

Inappropriate?thanks for the quick feedback - I tried Napkee and the python export script approach, unfortunately Napkee hangs when exporting my mockups and the script seems to have issues with the positioning of the image maps. So none of them is sufficient
ad 3) I like the approach discussed in http://www.getsatisfaction.com/balsam... - great to hear you are working on it. Can't await it!
I used Balsamiq only once now, but it was an immediate huge success. Both, my boss and the client loved it ;-)
I’m excited

Inappropriate?Hi Erich,
which problems do you have with Napkee? Do you want maybe to submit your problem at http://getsatisfaction.com/napkee ?
Thanks!
I’m confident

Inappropriate? For the 1) question, Paldi, it doesn't work for me neither, wether on the Mac or the PC platforms.
