Let us rotate ... please :)
Allow rotation of any object. At least a couple of times a day, I wish had the ability to rotate an element. For example, I want to show the iPhone screen in the landscape mode, where the controls remain in their original portrait mode. Right now, that's not possible ... at least not with a LOT of work (which defeats the value of this great app :)

Inappropriate?My 2 cents.
I feel this is a really big request that is really hard to implement and would not be worth the effort or the time it would save. -
Inappropriate?Hi kaveh, what iPhone screen? I don't have a an iPhone screen control at the moment...I'm a bit confused.
-
The new I phone control is seriously cool! Unfortunately i haven't got an excuse to use it yet! -
Inappropriate?Sorry for the lack of clarity: one of the situations in which I needed to rotate a few elements involved wanting to show an iPhone screen in landscape orientation, where the controls would stay in the portrait orientation; thus, the need to rotate the controls (say a camera button).
-
Inappropriate?I just found out that you can't rotate and was extremely frustated. I needed to have to text run vertically. In order to accomplish this I had to bust our paint and create it there and then import it into a mockup. It was a huge pain.

Hello Vega, sorry about that. Since you're not the first person to ask for vertical text, we'll add an "orientation" option to the Label control soon. -
Inappropriate?Great, that would be very helpful. You product become more and more useful every day. I can't wait for storyboarding!

Inappropriate?Hi Peldi,
vertical-orientation (or at least rotation) would also be appreciated for the accordion control... Thanks! -
Inappropriate?Just having a landscape mode version of the iphone mockup would be enough for me.
-
Inappropriate?Hi Chris, the iPhone control has the landscape mode. You can set it by clicking on the Orientation icons in the Inspector.
The iPhone keyboard supports it too. -
Hi Luke, aside from Accordion and Label, what other control type you'd like to rotate? -
Inappropriate?Off the top of my head - the basic lines and rectangles would give a lot. A week ago I would have answered the arrow, but I've gotten used to being flexible with it it (although I'd hate to have to explain it to someone else - so maybe that's still a case for it).
The rectangle would partially be so I can make diamonds for flow-charting, and the lines would only really be super useful if I could actually rotate to precise degrees (ie not just 45, 90, etc). Basically I'm using them as primitives for drawing things that aren't already covered by the base elements. Could also use a basic triangle. (:

I’m thankful

thanks Luke. If I may paraphrase, you need more basic shapes. Here are some workarounds in action: http://mockupstogo.net/simple-shapes-... - still no diamond or triangle though, I get it. -
Inappropriate?Hehe, I've actually used those - they're ok, but you're right, not all inclusive. I know I'm abusing your tool for something other than UI, so I only expect so much. It's just by far the easiest layout tool I've used, so it begs me to use it for flowcharting more than UI. And while we're on the subject, if you do decide to grace us with some basic shapes, the ability to have text, which is auto-centered within them - would be awesome as well.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Hi, does anyone have a timeline on when the orientation will be available for text please?
Thanks -
Hi Catherine, I hope to get it done in September. -
Inappropriate?Yes, i too was looking for this feature. Basically i wanted to put the 'Get Satisfaction' Feedback button to my mock-up and was unable to do so without this feature.
