Mockup hosed and making Balsamiq unhappy
Something has happened with a mockup I'm working on. It will not open correctly in 1.1.38, which is the same version that it was created in. The XML file seems like it is mostly correct (obviously it isn't 100% correct); all of my controls in the mockup have their proper text in the XML.
For example, here is one of the comments that is showing up black here:
<control>
<controlproperties>
<text>1.%20Details%20is%20a%20dynamic%20form%20that%20changes%20based%20on%20the%20problem%20selected.%20%20For%20instance%2C%20if%20it%20is%20a%20color%20printer%20with%20B%26W%20and%20Color%20toner%2C%20it%20would%20show%20something%20that%20asks%20which%20color%20toner%20needs%20to%20be%20replaced.</text>
</controlproperties>
</control>

Inappropriate?Travis, I'm on it. I can repro with the XML you sent me. Stay tuned.

Inappropriate?Ok, so I found what's causing the error but I don't yet know how you got in that state. The error is that your mockup includes some <align>undefined</align> for some labels. That's an invalid alignment, so Mockups barfs on it. I have no idea how you were able to create an undefined alignment, but I'll hunt it down. Also, I'll make it so that if it is undefined in the future, I'll just default to left instead of dying. :) I emailed you a fixed version of your XML, stay tuned for the real fix.

Inappropriate?Perfect. It is happy and working again. Thanks for the VERY fast response!
I’m fantabulous.

Inappropriate?Ok, new builds pushed which are more resilient to undefined/null values (i.e. bad data). I suggest you upgrade before it happens again. The mistery continues on how you managed to align text to "undefined"...was this part of a group/ungroup? did you save? paste? what was it? I put some code in the latest build which doesn't "clone" undefined values, so it might not happen ever again (or so we hope).

Inappropriate?I can't think of anything I might have done differently. I did not clone or copy/paste anything into the mockup. I was working strictly within that one. I did save and try to clone the mockup, but the clone was fubar. I closed the app, restarted, and the existing mockup came in fubar was well.
I was playing with alignments, but nothing extraordinary. I guess I just hit a luck sequence of monkey-banging.
