More arrows styles...
I really like the new arrow features. Look what I can do...
But I would like to suggest a few enhancements:
- Ability to use a straight line
- Curved from the lower half of an arc (you can only do upper)
- It would be great to be able to choose the color
- It would be great to be able to change the thickness.

Inappropriate?Here is an example
- Adding lower arcs
- Making it easier to see what button is selected (Blue Background)
I’m happy
-
Inappropriate?Regarding thickness: maybe I just need to make the default thinner? Is the problem now that they are just too fat?
I’m trying to reduce options and just have one great setting
-
They are too fat in my opinion.
Regarding color, is it easy to add a transparency slider? -
Ok so, just to make sure, if I made them thinner you wouldn't need a thickness slider? -
Inappropriate?Ok, so now arrows are thinner and can have a color and a transparency.
Next I'll try to do that "blue background" skin on the buttons...skinning flex is so painful for me... :( -
Chiming in late on this, but for what it's worth, excessive thickness was the main problem -- those arrows were overpowering the primary content. This new slimmed-down version, with color and transparency, hits the spot. Thanks ... -
Inappropriate?Straight lines?
-
I'm not sure about this one...want to try to convince me on why it's an absolute must-have? -
Inappropriate?Much better- Thanks

Inappropriate?Hi Michael, I just added a curvature slider to the arrow inspector, so now you can have concave, straight and convex lines, like this:

Right now its only in the NEXT release: http://www.balsamiq.com/products/mock... but I'll push it live in a few days (I'm thinking of only push new features to production once a week from now on, say on Sunday nights).

this is one of the best points

Awesome - works great and I am sure many will love this too. Thanks -
Heh. Once a week for me means slowing down! Normally I would just code it and release it! Now that the product is a bit more mature I'm trying to manage the rate of updates, for customers' sake. :) -
Inappropriate?Ditto for a straight line arrow, although you can get pretty close as is. Maybe the current arrow UI along with a Shift, Alt or other key would do it.
BTW, very impressed with your product since starting with it last Friday!! Please keep KISS as a major objective for this product ;) And that means respectfully ignoring or choosing not to do a number of feature we suggest... seriously!!! I've seen at least one feature request on the boards that is simply too much. Please DO NOT turn this product into Visio, Photoshop, or any other overwhelming product. The vision of keeping this quick-and-easy for purposefully sketchy-looking renderings is the most important thing.
Cheers,
-- Joe
I’m pleased

Hi Joe, arrow styles are live in the latest version. And don't worry, I hate bloatware and I am well aware that Mockups' simplicity is one of its biggest selling points. Thanks for the reminder though!
