Wow you ARE on a roll Adam! I like the idea, but on Tufte's paper there are about 10 different kinds. How about just the simple one shown in the Wikipedia article? Wiggly line + red dot at the end. I could make it so that it's drawn programmatically and sort-of random too.

Absolutely - a general sparkline component is plenty - no need to go overboard.
