How about a new state for the text input component that would show the ******* of a password, rather than text?

Inappropriate?Hi Adam, you can achieve the same result by typing ****** in the text input component can you not? It's not as fast as clicking a "is password" checkbox in a property inspector, but it can be done with less UI. Maybe I'm missing something?

That is true. That certainly conveys the idea. Typing "****" is a bit different than what most password inputs usually display. I don't think you're missing anything. -
