Second undo doesnt work
If I type Ctrl+Z to undo modifications, the resize undo works only if it was the latest modification. As I'm trying now not just resize, but move also.

Inappropriate?I find "undo" unreliable in Balsamiq, sometimes works as expected, sometimes does not. All in all I feel uneasy when trying out some changes in my mockup if it has not been already saved.
I’m anxious

Inappropriate?Hi there. We'll take a look right away. If you have reproduceable steps, those would be very helpful!
-
Inappropriate?I can always reproduce with the following steps:
- New Blank Mockup
- Drag a Button & type Enter to let the default "Button" name
- Drag a second Button & type Enter to let the default "Button" name
- Select the first one and resize it
- Select the second one and resize it
Now start to use Ctrl+Z at least ten times.
Some result:
- The 2nd button will become captionless
- The 1st button will have the caption "undefined"
- The 1st button won't be resized
Environment: Ubuntu Linux 8.0.4 with Gnome -
Inappropriate? If you have any element on top of another, and select the bottom one then delete it, 'undoing' that action make it appear on top of the one it was below. Undo is very unreliable all round.

Inappropriate? One thing that I find a bit frustrating and inconsistent with other software is that undo also applies to the action of selecting an object. For example, if I move an object and then de-select it (which I typically do out of habit without thinking about it), I need to undo twice to move it back to where it was (once to re-select it and then again to move it back). According to my mental model I only performed one action (moving the object), so I would like undo to undo my action directly rather than treating selection as an action. In my mind, selection isn't an action and undo shouldn't apply to it.

Inappropriate? This seems to be a good place to make a note of ctrl-z / undo issues.
Ctrl-z as Undo, and ctrl-y to Redo, only work at the control level, not with text.
Enter text into any control, then ctrl-z. There doesn't seem to be a way to undo text being entered "right now". I know the next question is "undo to where?" What do you think about undoing text back to the last punctuation, or since the last carriage return? This sort of thing even works in browser text areas. Right now I'm tempted to create text for listboxes and accordions in a separate editor and then paste the final version into Balsamiq. That's just silly.
Same goes for ctrl-y, which of course if you can't ctrl-z you can't ctrl-y either... -
Hi Starbuck, I am aware of this bug and I plan to fix it soon, thanks for the detailed report!
