Inappropriate?Hi Jan, what OS are you on? What control type are you trying to edit? I just tried with the latest version and the selected text went away when I started typing, as I expected.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Ok, I run into the same problem on Windows XP and I can reproduce it as follows:
1) create new mockup
2) a label (or any other object with text)
3) double-click the object (now, all the text is selected)
4) press the mouse button somewhere in the text (don't release the button!)
5) select any text with the mouse (drag the mouse to the end of a word)
6) release the mouse button and the text cursor jumps to the end of the line or end of the text or middle of the word...
If you type after the selection, the text is added at the cursor position (as after the release of the mouse button, no text is selected). If you select the text again, everything is normal.
This is a reproducible behavior after entering edit mode. I think it's annoying, but not critical. -
Hi Andi, thanks for the detailed steps, I can reproduce it as well. I'll add it to the list...but not too near to the top... ;)
