Text positioning and curly braces
Two text issues I've just noticed: First, the property panel for curly braces displays an empty (null) text size instead of the true default, which is 13 points.
That one's trivial. The bigger deal is when you create a horizontal curly brace, flip the brace to open downward, and enter enough text to cause line wrapping. No matter how you resize the component, the text flows from immediately above the curly brace and winds up overwriting the graphic -- and beyond.
The same thing happens with vertical curly braces, but that orientation generally gives more wrapping room, so it's easier to cope with. The text flows from just above the point of the brace instead of centering itself against it.
By the way, been using these a lot for "inline" annotations, while reserving sticky notes for editorial asides. The two components work well together that way ... sort of like two different voices.

Inappropriate?A followup discovery: place a downward-opened horizontal curly brace at the very top of a mockup, with the rest of the components positioned below. Then export a PNG snapshot. The resulting image will have the text portion of the curly brace cut off -- the capture algorithm sees the top of the image as the graphical brace part, not the text. Possibly related to the text positioning mentioned earlier?
Shoving everything down about an inch allowed a workaround. -
Inappropriate?Hi Michael, I just finally fixed this. It took a few hours of experimentation...Flash and Flex really don't help you here... :(
I just tested export to PNG the way you describe and it worked fine as well.
I’m tired but happy

Just downloaded and tried it ... works perfectly now, and I see the font size also defaults correctly. Thanks for chasing that one down; sorry it wound up burning some time. -
