Trouble with keyboard shortcut

When I am editing a multi-line text box, I am trying to accept changes using the keyboard by pressing Ctrl+Enter. However what happens is that it seems to work, but then immediately opens up the control for text editing again.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?
