Update Appearance of Active Tabs
The Interaction Designers and I at work are continuing to love and use Balsamiq. We
were wondering if you could add an Active Tab that actually connects
with the container rather than having a line below it and green fill?
This more accurately fits today's Tab standards for contrast rather than the connected look and green color for the active tab.
I've attached a sample for reference, from Balsamiq of course, to
highlight what we're asking for. Let me know if this can be done soon.

Inappropriate?Same style for vertical tabs. Make the fonts on the non active tabs gray colored. :D If we really wanted to get fancy we'd make the non active tabs slightly darker to show some more contrast.

wait this confused me even more...in the image you posted the non-active tabs have a lighter background than the selected one and their text is not gray...in fact, it looks VERY similar to what I have today! ??? -
No, not exactly. I'm trying to show richer examples, but the end result, in Balsamiq, should be simpler (per my balsamiq mockup I posted).
Maybe being able to remove the green color will be enough of a change? From here on, all we'll be mocking up will have the look of the first balsamiq I posted (no green, no color, tab connected to the content). -
Inappropriate? While my clients generally understand the difference between a wireframe and a design, I get a lot of feedback from wireframes on the tab "design" - mostly the angled tabs.
Could we make the tabs just that little bit more generic looking so they don't stand out so much?
It would also be great if we could turn off the panel, so you can just see the tabs themselves.
Many thanks,
Stephen
