would be great if last window position and dimensions are remembered, it now only always opens up on the left side of the screen and very narrow, approx 1/4 of the screen size.

Inappropriate?That's interesting...it works fine on mac/windows...I wonder if I need to do something else on linux...let me look around and get back to you.

Inappropriate?Peldi, thanks, and I forgot to mention, I am using xfce4.4.2, if that matters.

Inappropriate?Hi Yining, I just managed to reproduce the bug, but it doesn't look like it will be a trivial one to fix. I have made a note and I'll be working on this over the holidays. I'll keep you posted!
I’m thankful

Hi Peldi,
Thanks for the efforts you have put in. It's only one click away for me to maximize the window, so this is just a little annoyance not worth "wasting" the holiday on :-) -
Inappropriate?Same effect here on Ubuntu 8.04

Inappropriate?I assume this is still an open item? In case it's helpful, I'm running the desktop app under WinXP Pro SP3. I run the application in full-screen mode. When I close the app, it always opens in windowed mode (though sized to nearly the full screen).
I'm seeing this in the just installed the "Next.59" version. I don't know if it is a problem in the current "release" version or not.

Yes, still an open item. Thanks for the additional info, it helps. It's on my list, I'll get to it, I promise! -
Inappropriate?Hi,
I have a dual monitor setup with a desktop size = 2560 x 1024.
I usually run Balsamiq maximised in one of the screens (1280 x 1026).
When Balsamiq launches, it sizes its window to about 640 x 480. The config file has rememberWindowSize=true.
I just installed 1.6.29 (Desktop) on Windows XP. When Balsamiq launched immediately after updating, its window size almost filled one screen. (I thought "woohoo, it's fixed.")
However, when I closed it and reopened it, Balsamiq launched with the same small window again.

In case it's of any value, I update the software quite regularly but there are only two Balsamiq folders in my Application Data folder:
1. (empty)
name = BalsamiqMockupsForDesktop.2AC69118EBDF987BED0DDB0FDD08468D6BE55BAA.1
2. (contents)
name = BalsamiqMockupsForDesktop.2AC69118EBDF987BED0DDB0FDD08468D6BE55BAA.1
I’m hopeful

Hello Colin, do you still have this issue with the latest Desktop build? http://www.balsamiq.com/products/mock... - Also, you can delete the empty BalsamiqMockupsForDesktop.2AC69118EBDF987BED0DDB0FDD08468D6BE55BAA.1 folder.
Last suggestion, remove the rememberWindowSize tag from your config file entirely and relaunch (it defaults to true) -
Hi Giacomo,
This issue was resolved when I did a recent update. Thanks so much.
Cheers
