Would love a grid with a check box as a column.
Would love the grid to support a checkbox as a column. Perhaps using a [0] or a [x] (really all you would need is the brackets and if something is inside them it could be a checkbox) in the text and recognizing that column as a checkbox that would be centered. for extra credit there could be an option in the field properties to enable or disable the feature.
I have recreated the look with some checkboxes with the label of a single space and a label to show the X.

Inappropriate?I really like this idea Chris! It has that "magical" feel to it...let me add it to the list. :)
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?I have wanted this too - good one.

Inappropriate?Piling on with a "me, too". I've been faking this for a while with [x] and (o) in the cell contents, but would be _way_ cooler if solo x's and o's triggered graphical widgets in the cells.

Are you using radio buttons too? -
Yes. Not nearly as often as the checkboxes, but once in a while the buttons have been called for as well. -
Inappropriate?Guess what guys?

Here are the shortcuts:
[] or [ ] for unselected checkbox
() or ( ) for unselected radio button
[x] or [v] or [o] or [*] or [X] or [V] or [O] for selected checkbox
(x) or (v) or (o) or (*) or (X) or (V) or (O) for selected radio button
new build already live here http://www.balsamiq.com/products/mock...
I’m stoked about WOW features like this one!

Hey how about the ability to have disabled option or checkbox?
[[x]] or ((x)) or something else?
