Hi Chris, thanks for replying so promptly. Sorry, the page won't let me enter a reply so I've had to use a comment instead, hope this is ok!
It's the Barcamp for UK government - the second of which is happening on 31st January 2009 in London. As far as I can see, the venue is yet to be confirmed. (http://barcamp.org/BarcampUKGovweb09)

Well, here's how to do it:
1. create an account on my.pbwiki.com
2. visit http://barcamp.pbwiki.com/BarcampUKGo... or http://barcamp.org/BarcampUKGovweb09 and then click the Edit tab.
You should be to add yourself to the list now.
Let me know if that doesn't work!
