Station Signage?

I had to pick up someone at the Bart Station in Walnut Creek. Unfortunately, there are two Bart stations in WC and at the one I could find _zero_ signs on the road or in the parking lot that told name the name of the station. Thousands of signs saying Bart, Bart, Bart everywhere but it was like the name of the station was secret. How are people who don't use those stations supposed to know the name? How are travellers or others outside of the stations supposed to know where they are?

Please do some usability studies that include people who are not Bart regulars.
