BatchBox Email Forwarding... Your thoughts?
Howdy! I'm the UX Designer for BatchBook and today we're officially launching BatchBox - our new email forwarding feature. You can read about the launch on our blog or you can view a screencast. We're obsessed with user feedback, so I'd love to hear feedback on what you think! Thanks!

Inappropriate?Compared to the other CRMs it's not a very exciting feature, I wish it could download/import old email from our Google Apps account using IMAP or something.
I’m indifferent

Inappropriate?Hello Dobes—Importing all old email does make the assumption that you want ALL of your email to be tracked in your CRM. Our users for the most part have been picking emails to track and share with their team on an individual basis. Importing old mailboxes certainly isn't out of the question. It just hasn't been heavily requested (somewhat to my surprise).
I'm curious to see what other features you find valuable in a CRM. We've launched a lot of good stuff lately and I'd like to know what you think:
- a "feed reader" SuperTag that allows you to see a contact's latest blog posts, tweets, photos, bookmarks, etc. along side their contact data and communication history
- Powerful searching with any type of custom data you'd like to track.
- The ability to create To-Dos from the BatchBox email forwarding service in addition to forwarding emails
And much more documented in the Product Updates category of our blog. If you get a moment, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Thanks,

Inappropriate?I think when I saw you were starting to go in the direction of pulling data from outside sources I was convinced to sign up - that's pretty unique and potentially quite useful.
One thing I've seen out there is a site that auto-generates a bunch of information about someone by searching the internet (or something) ... perhaps that's another site you could integrate with.
I'll let you know what other features come to mind as I go along ... -
Inappropriate? Thanks, Dobes. That actually goes along with our future plans quite well. We know there's a lot of useful data already out there. No sense recreating the wheel every time around. Stay tuned for some good stuff. And I look forward to hearing more from you as well!

Inappropriate?More email forwarding functions please.
The communications are great, the todo's are good too, but Batchbook is not my main task manager at this time. My contacts as a realtor need immediate attention, and are often short lived. Getting them into the workflow with an associated task with the least effort would be great.
Are my leads not that important or good? Well, Yeah most of the time they are short lived. They are a request for information only, will not result in an immediate transaction, only related to a specific property through Buyer Brokerage. Inputting every lead isn't that hard I admit, but parsing text would be better. It isn't so much that it is hard to input a contact quickly or thoroughly on your service, it is the departure from the application that I am currently using that interrupts the work flow.
This now sounds silly, I should just type them in and create the todo.
But it would be cool, email requests could be copied and pasted into a new email to batchbook, or Ubiquitied via email or API. It could become a capture tool for contact data while on the phone.
It's great to have a voice!
I am counting on your company to do everything that can be done already in completely new and unexpected ways. -
Inappropriate?Hello Maserati... some great feedback here!
We're hard at work on our API, so we're looking forward to many, many different ways to interact with your contacts, comms, and to-dos. Sounds like you could use an "always on" desktop widget that you can just drop data into from anywhere. I'd love something like that too!
You can stay up to date on API developments on our blog.
Thanks!
I’m happy
