3G & edge connection

I downloaded and installed Discover server on IMac 10.5.6. I am unable to access home computer from remote locations on edge or 3G. Works fine with wifi on LAN. Have allowed all incoming connections for Discover server in Firewall settings but still no luck. From the release notes on the new version in App Store, sounds like remote access on edge or 3G should be possible. Am I missing something?
