Can't Map Network Drive to Access Discover
I can't seem to Map Network Drive to access Discover (I have followed the instructions to the letter). I can access Discover through my web browser & the Discover client fine but every time I try to Map Network Drive I get a "The network path http://192.168.1.100:8888 could not be found" error. I am using Windows Vista & have tested this with SP1 & all the latest updates (& with the original Vista installation & no updates) & the same occurs. A similar file viewing/storing app available through iTunes which also uses the Map Network Drive feature has no such problems so this doesn't appear to be a problem with my wireless network or the operating system.
Is anybody else having this problem? Is there a way to fix it?

Inappropriate?Same problem here - looks like an authentication bug. I can get in through the web iface but webdav is knackered . Btw - vista sp1 here too... Will try via a virtual machine tomorrow under xp to check if this is OS related. -
Inappropriate?I had the same problem when my computer (vista) was connected to the internet by cable (ethrtnet). Then i connected the computer to my LAN by Wifi and the problem dot fixed.
BUT now i've got this other problem: Wista asks me to fill in my username & password several times (3) and then sends me an error message sayind he can't connect to my iPod...
Really frustating cause the drag&drop tool would be really useful for multiple transfers! :(

I just downloaded the app (6 Jan 09) and I am having the same problem. Is the new release you are talking about out yet? Is the Vista problem fixed? I tried to map the network drive and access through IE both with no luck. -
Inappropriate?I still have this problem. Are the updates out and the problem solved? It will be good too do have a button to download all checked items in IE. And of course, a button to "check all" items.

Inappropriate?The problem seems to be specific to Vista. There is a fix for it as seen on the Microsoft KB site:
