Large files crash Discover and can't be removed!
I uploaded a 63mb pdf and now Discover hangs and crashes my iphone everytime I open the application. Worse, I can't seem to get the pdf off my iphone now, as it never shows up on the desktop explorer. Anyone else have this issue or know how I might solve it? (I restored my iphone to factory settings and still have this problem)

Inappropriate?I uploaded a 39mb file. Discover crashes when I try to open it. Seems that large PDF files has some problems...
-
Inappropriate?I have that same problem with large jpg files - around 5-6mb. I think that Discover tries to render an icon and then hangs...
-
Inappropriate?I believe it's rendering a preview of the file and the file is just too big for the iPhone's cache. So crashing and freezing is the first problem that I think B-Base needs to address.
But the second, and more pressing, problem is that I can't get these file off my phone now, and they're taking up valuable memory!
I’m not impressed with B-Base's customer support

Inappropriate?what helped in my case was when i started the application when an iphone was connected to the computer. Because of some reason software didn't crash but rendered thumbnail after a while.

Inappropriate?Hmm.. just tried and it still crashed. I put really big files on though.
Nice suggestion anyways!
I’m still waiting for customer support

Inappropriate?testet this and had the same prob...
DiskAid helps you to get rid of the files... Files(lite) is the better app... sorry bbase -
Inappropriate?but DiskAid need Jailbroken to view some folder.
We appreciate your post,I have submitted to the developer. -
Inappropriate?Sorry Michael, but your repy is only half the truth... no jailbreak needed to delete files from 100apple!!!
-
Inappropriate? The latest news: a software published on appstore will be reviewed by Apple Inc. But operating in original folders is not allowed by Apple Inc now.
DiskAid is a software which doesn't run on iphone and pulish on appstore. It runs on PC. So, operating in media folders is not limited. -
Inappropriate?AND THAT IS THE SOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEM...MAN... while discover is unable to start, software solutions like diskaid allow you to browse your iphone and remove the files that cause the probs...
in my understanding of competent tech support you should have given this advice to the users, to get rid of the files causing the problems and to get discover back to work... follwed by the advice to care about filesize...
maybe i'm wrong but i could not find even one proper solution for a problem asked here...
for the future my iphone is "discover-free", not because i don't like your software but for the behavior you handle user-probs...
sorry guys...
chears and a happy new year... -
