Unable to connect!
Absolutely unable to connect PC (Windows XP) to iPhone. Installed the Discover App on iPhone. Even installed the Discover client on Windows. Still unable to connect. Successfully pinged iPhone but whenever I enter the URL for e.g. http://10.0.0.50:8888, no response at all. Yes, both devices are on the same Wifi.

Inappropriate?The first,enable wifi on your iphone,and connect it to the same network that your computer is connected to.
The second,open browser(IE,firefox,safari etc.),input an address from the hints on Discover. -
Inappropriate?I can't connect in Windows Vista via the Networkconncention, if I typ in the IP adress I get a message not able to connect IP xxxxx. If I take the browser (Firefox) I have no problem. Any Idea ?
In the brwoser application I can't put an already downloadded file from one folder to another.
But in genaeral the tool is great -Thanks for a reply

Inappropriate?I have the exact same problem! My iphone is connected to the same network, and the windows Discover client detects my iphone, yet I cannot connect to my iphone.
There is no error message to show you. It just says "cannot find server" or "page cannot be displayed" or "network timeout."
I’m frustrated
