A useful feature would be to add links to the relevant IMBD page (and possibly other sites) from 'programmes' which are actually films (eg A Beautiful Mind). You could probably figure out how to do this programmatically...
Would it be possible to add a now and next to /programmes? I know there is /ataglance you can stick on the end of /programmes/schedules/ but now and next would mean you don't even need to scan the listings. I'm being slightly lazy as for my application I could parse the xml feed for the schedule and figure out what is on now and next myself, but others might find it useful for other reasons.
Feeling frustrated! Just invested in an internet radio, I love listen again for loads of Radio4 programmes. Have beensetting up my on demand (listen again) favourites in www.reciva.com - it's very clever. Except - podcasts are working well - that's easy to sort out. But not all listen-again programmes are available as podcasts. To stream others I think I need to cut&paste the stream URL. Can you tell me where I find the stream URL, for example. When I do listen-again via my mac (for example, to Monday's episode of Book fo the Week) it plays in RealPlayer, and therefore I'm not able to see (or cut&paste) the streaming URL. Can you please help me? I need to be able to cut&paste the URL stream and can't find it. Thank you. Donna.
Why doesn't BBC America play more of the 'standard' shows that are on the Beeb in UK? With the huge expat community you are selling yourselves short (and annoying us) by giving us constant re-runs of Cash In the Attic and The Graham Norton Show!). I would love to see shows like Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Who do you think you are, and some of the documentaries, travel and nature shows the Beeb is famous for.
Thank you for broadcasting Songs of Praise, in particular the recent ones about Dr. Billy Graham's visits to England. Also thank you for the overtly Christian programme recently on a Tuesday evening about the 13year old girl from the south of England. We look forwd to the Easter broadcasts
As the Licensee of "The Boars Head Inn" of Crowborough East Sussex I am requesting the transcript and video of a news item that you apparently released on Tuesday the 3rd. March regarding a pub that was closing down. I am advised that your reporter mentioned the BOARS HEAD INN, EAST SUSSEX as being the pub that was closing as opposed to the "BULLS HEAD".
I have no need to tell you of the impact that this is having on our business and look forward to your immediate and aggressive response to rectify this catastrophic situation.
I think that the BBC does a difficult job very well so to speak. I think that BBC iPlayer could be improved in several ways, and some of the employees (celebrities) are payed extortionate wages, but nevertheless, the amount of content available to the Tax Payer is good value for money.
Will the Easter episode of Doctor Who still air as planned, recent blog that I have browsed indicate troubles on set.
Would love to see Doctor Who, haven't had my fix in a while and I'm starting to go cold turky, re-runs just aren't the same.
Why don't programmes start at their allotted time? eg: The One Show starts 2-3 minutes before seven every day among others. Its really not worth using my Guide Plus for BBC programmes.
can you put me out of my misery ..... on the 30th December I was watching a documentary on Maggie Thatcher and then one on Orson Wells (not by choice I was nursing my 3 day old grandson. I saw an advert I think it was BBC 4 for a new drama - there was a huge statue of a dragon - the eyes turned red and it flew off and as it flew all the cash machines seemed to empty themselves. Now am I going mad or did this really happen? It gave the name it was two words. And for the life of me I cannot remember what the name of it was. All I know it was coming soon. Can you help me.

Why is the iPlayer became such big and bloated? Why does it run only on Windows machines, no Mac and Linux?
And why can I only access BBC content using proprietary technologies like RealPlayer instead of much more open standards like podcasts and plain mp3 files?
For that so much tax money why do I have to watch 30 sec. ads before video news clips on BBC News website?
Can you explain me why the taxpayer only get this kind of service for his money? Is it possible to *not* pay for the service?
what is the music used during Ski Sunday. i don't mean the main theme but it is used when they are reporting and showing highlights of the weekend skiing.
We could until a few months ago, but then you changed something. Yes these smartphones are capable of playing embedded Flash movies, which is why it did work... once upon a time.
