I'm not sure how open the Apple TV and Front Row interfaces are to extensibility - although it's something I'd love to see the BBC and Apple collaborate on.

This guy (http://www.brandon-holland.com/softwa...) has been able to create a FrontRow/Apple TV internet browser and Skype client. Boxee has also been able to add BBC iPlayer streaming into its service (Which can be installed on Apple TV). It would be nice if there was a plug-in for the FrontRow side of things.

I'd use this if it were available. As Dylan Brown points out, it looks as though Front Row is extensible with plugins.
