iPlayer Desktop Growl Notifications
The BBC iPlayer Desktop sports a Growl-esque notification system. Is there anyway it can actually push these notifications to Growl if it is installed?

Inappropriate?Let me help you - http://growl.info/documentation/growl.... I managed to get the notifier working on a custom shell script I wrote. Integration seems quite simple IMHO.
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate?Growl is the de facto standard when it comes to notifications on a Mac. I have 25 apps installed which make use of this.
I'd really like to see BBC iPlayer Desktop use Growl for its notifications.
Not only does this play nicer with other apps (avoids overlapping notifications and means a consistent UI experience) but it would have some nice knock on effects too... I have a new app called Prowl installed on my iPhone. This means Growl notifications get sent to my iPhone as push notifications. I can start downloading a BBC programme, walk away from the Mac and I'll know instantly when the video is ready to be watched.
Please?
PS: I know I can stream it instead but this is not always reliable for me for some reason. I always prefer to download instead. On more than one occasion I've been watching something and a few minutes before the end it'll suddenly start buffering like mad. This is a side issue though.
I’m excited
