iPlayer has stopped working on my Wii
I was thrilled when I found out I could watch iPlayer on my Wii and have used it religiously ever since. But it's completely stopped working.
I go to the iPlayer homepage and instead of the normal page it has only a few items displayed. This seems like a great idea for browsing with the Wii but none of the links work. Either I click something and nothing happens, or I get page errors. When I browse by channel, the lists are empty, and on any pages with programme lists the scroll buttons don't work.
I just performed a Wii system update - I don't know if that's got anything to do with it? All other sites have been working as normal.

Inappropriate?Hi Downstage
I don't work on iPlayer but i suspect this might have something to do with the recent upgrade we made to the iPlayer/Wii version. Anthony Rose; iplayer head honcho has full details here. Hopefully it should now be all ok.
Let us know if not.

Inappropriate? This fault still hasnt cleared and is exactly as described by the Original Poster.
Glad to see the BBC are committed to Wii and iPlayer. I look forward to this fault being fixed.

Inappropriate?Hi Metimmee I'm sorry about that. It looks like teething problems with the upgrade. I've let Anthony Rose and his team know.
By the way get satisfaction is not the formal way to give feedback to the BBC. We are just trying it out although questions and queries here are very welcome.
iPlayer has its official Q&A forum here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/mbiplayer/ although as of writing it doesn't look as if anyone has posted or responded to a query about your recent issues with the Wii.
I’m unsure

Inappropriate? To be honest, I'd spotted the official BBC forum and was going to post on that but saw the sign up form and couldn't be bothered. Sorry!
Not having any luck with iPlayer on the Wii yet, but I'll keep checking back. -
Inappropriate?Still no luck but I have found a way round the issue for anybody experiencing it. Just keep clicking through until you reach a 'page not found' (I think they appear if you click 'TV' and then when you choose certain channels). There's a search box on the error page, and you can type the name of the program in and it takes you back to the old interface and you can keep browsing from there.
It's a shame not to be able to browse using the new Wii-friendly version, but hopefully they will fix it soon.
I’m looking forward to a proper fix

Inappropriate?hi, i've recently come across an issue with some programmes but not all. the latest series of babylon episode 2 and 4 stop playing approx. half way through on the wii. they work fine if you watch them on a pc though. i've tried various ways to get it to play the rest including deleting cookies but it doesn't make any differencr. please could this be investigated?

Inappropriate? For all those wanting iPlayer on the Wii, the browser version has been discontinued (the one you get to through the Internet Channel) but you can download a free dedicated iPlayer Channel through the Store.
