iPlayer homepage listing doesn’t remember channel selection

When browsing programmes, I often find myself going back/forwards between programme detail pages and the iPlayer homepage. If I'm not browsing programmes on BBC One, I have to switch channels each time I return to the homepage. This is intensely irritating.
