Dear Mr or Mrs sdfsdfsdfsdfsdf,
The iPlayer has worked for Mac users since 25 December last year, when we enabled live streaming within the product.
A great number of my fellow inward-looking civil servants, during the brief time they are not inspecting the inside of their own body with their heads, are Mac users and wish to enable TV downloads on that platform - and Linux - as soon as possible. One of them said something that sounded interesting to me last week, but sadly, he was quite muffled - and I was inspecting the inside of my own body at the time, I didn't hear exactly what he said. It sounded quite interesting, though.
In other potentially unconnected news, the BBC Internet Blog has a full day devoted to the iPlayer on Friday.
Do have a splendid day, and thank you for using this, unofficial, way to contact the BBC. I wish the sdfsdfsdfsdfsdf family all the best.

@Reclusive Monkey - the DG, go back on his word? No. In fact... we've just quietly delivered it.

It's a BBC iPlayer Labs product - and available in beta right now: I've scribbled together a quick blog entry on how.
I’m happy

(I should point out that I'm attempting to reply to the original post with humour and good grace. Hope that comes across!) -

Inappropriate? We were promised it in 2008, so we should have it anytime now =]

Inappropriate? That blog link doesn't seem to be working for me. The URL is http://james.cridland.net/blog/2008/1...
Great to see iPlayer on the mac finally. Now if only the other TV companies will catch up.
I’m excited
