Slow auto ftp deployment Last reply on July 08, 2008 22:14.

Automatic FTP deployment is a great feature however I have found to be too slow to implement it within a development workflow (even in the case of a one character change in one file). Is there any chance deployment speed will be increased to reasonable levels?

.Zip working copy import problem Last reply on July 07, 2008 15:22.

"Import from working copy" when creating a new repository does not work with .zip files. I tried it with tar.gz, which did work. Am I missing something?

Can We Transfer or Merge Accounts? Last reply on July 02, 2008 20:33.

I just signed up for a personal account for our small web team. Problem is two of us have been using the free accounts for two separate projects. Is it possible to transfer the two free accounts to our new personal account?

Does the Campfire 'live chat' from the Help section of the Beanstalk website work? Last reply on June 24, 2008 09:35.

Everytime I try to log in as a guest to the Wildbit Live Chat lobby, it says: "You have left the room Beanstalk."

Is this because it is empty? Does anyone know what hours it is manned (I'm in the UK, which might explain why it's never got anyone in it)?

Space is not reallocating after deleting Repo Last reply on June 19, 2008 04:23.

    Hi,

I wanted to test beanstalk out so I imported a site I was working on. There were some design source files so it ate up the 20 MB limit right away, I deleted the repo after I realized the mistake and tried to test with a different (smaller) site. Tortoise is getting an error that I have gone over my allocation but on the Beanstalk dashboard it shows me at 144kb of 20MB.

    Any help is appreciated.

Import strangely stuck Last reply on June 18, 2008 16:41.

We went to import an existing repository (the files, not the revisions), didn't seem to happen. No errors, just an import progress bar on the dashboard that hasn't really moved. We went ahead and recreated the repository as empty, checked in the files and all seems good - except for the still remaining import progress.

I'm kind of worried about it. What will happen if it ever 'finishes'? Something bad, like overwriting any work we do in the repository?

Getting "authorization failed" on repository checkout Last reply on June 28, 2008 03:11.

I'm always getting authorization failed for my repositories.

    Authentication realm: <https://name.svn.beanstalkapp.com:443> SVN
    Username: username
    Password for 'username':
svn: PROPFIND request failed on '/repo'
svn: PROPFIND of '/repo': authorization failed (https://name.svn.beanstalkapp.com)

I've checked password and username. Changed password to reset it. Anonymous checkout works but nothing, that requires authentication functions.

    What could be wrong?

    Folder already under version control?

This may be a SVN issue rather than a beanstalk one, but beanstalk is all we use for SVN so...

My colleagues are getting errors when trying to commit:

    'Folder already under version control'

It means that we are all not committing and need to be able to break out of this.

What can we do to reset our commits so they work?

    Performance/reliability problems Last reply on June 05, 2008 13:35.

Serious performance problems with both the subversion repository and the web site. We're having to cancel a production deploy to Kongregate right now because we can't get an export to work reliably. It will work sometimes, but not consistently enough for capistrano to deploy to 6 machines.

Why does Beanstalk think I have exceeded my storage limit? Last reply on May 20, 2008 18:40.

When attempting to commit code to an existing repository I receive an error message stating that states "You have exceeded the available storage for your plan.", I am using 115mb of an available 3GB for my plan.

The code I am trying to commit still leaves me well under the 3GB limit.

Time Offset on Dashboard Wrong Last reply on April 25, 2008 14:56.

I just noticed that my dashboard says there was no activity today, and all of today's activity falls under the "yesterday" heading. It appears the time offset isn't been carried through to the dashboard.

I double-checked that I had set the time zone setting was correct, which I did. And revisions are showing the correct time, but the dashboard is off.

Error: "Secure connection truncated" on update, commit, and check out Last reply on April 24, 2008 13:12.

The respository keeps throwing this error at us whenever we try to update, commit, or check out a project:

    ###

    Subversion Error

    REPORT request failed on '/project_name/!svn/vcc/default'

REPORT of '/project_name/!svn/vcc/default': Could not read response body: Secure connection truncated (https://companyname.svn.beanstalkapp....)

    ###

This occurs via both GUI (svnX and tortoiseSVN) and command line on both Windows and OS X machines. We have disabled HTTP compression on the client side to no avail.

We've found another report of someone else encountering this issue (and their solution), so in case it helps:
