Error: "Secure connection truncated" on update, commit, and check out Last reply on April 24, 2008 13:12.

The respository keeps throwing this error at us whenever we try to update, commit, or check out a project:

    ###

    Subversion Error

    REPORT request failed on '/project_name/!svn/vcc/default'

REPORT of '/project_name/!svn/vcc/default': Could not read response body: Secure connection truncated (https://companyname.svn.beanstalkapp....)

    ###

This occurs via both GUI (svnX and tortoiseSVN) and command line on both Windows and OS X machines. We have disabled HTTP compression on the client side to no avail.

We've found another report of someone else encountering this issue (and their solution), so in case it helps:

    I cannot delete a folder

I have folder in my repository that somehow has a name with ':' in it. This is causing problems with a clients SVN software (Tortoise).

I have tried deleting it in my local copy but I get SVN errors saying it cannot find a URL. I have tried deleting it by connecting to the repository via webdav, but I get a conflict error. I'm new to SVN so any tips would be very helpful!

Can't find a Fogbugz directory...what am I suppossed to do with the repo.php file? Last reply on April 09, 2008 17:41.

The instructions for integrating the Fogbugz script are incomplete. It says I have to download the PHP file "repo.php" and then put it in the Fogbugz directory. There isnt a Fogbugz directory anywhere in the svn file structure, and I've looked for it everywhere for the past hour. The instructions on the Fogbugz site do not refer to Beanstalk at all and thus, are either incomplete or aren't relevant.

I just need to know how to get this file in the proper place so I can go to "step 3".
    Does anyone know?

SVN Dump import upon repository creation does not work? Last reply on November 02, 2007 09:50.

I just tried it again (already gave it a shot a couple weeks ago and didn't work there either) & whenever I try to import my subversion-repositories dump upon creating a new repos on beanstalk, it always says: "We had problems with archive format."... which is only semi-cool :-/ I'd like to keep my history and all the stuff for obvious reasons.

If needed, send me a mail and I can provide you the dump directly...

Should display first line of commit message as summary

It's conventional style in a lot of projects to provide a summary of the commit as the first line of the commit message, and then follow it with a blank line and a more detailed description of the changes. This way, you can have long, detailed commit messages without having a giant chunk of text show up in the repo browser. Show only the first line in the repo browser, and then show the rest of the commit message when viewing the actual changeset.
