Can not log in to new repository
I've signed up and set up my first repository. I've used TortoiseSVN for some time and am using it here.
I've tried connecting to the repository, and Tortoise seems to think I can. Username and password are both accepted. However, I can't do anything from there - I keep getting a PROPFIND: 403 Forbidden error.

Inappropriate?Hi Dave,
This issue should be resolved now. Can you try again and let me know if it works for you? We are applying some updates to resolve this for good, since it seems to be occurring on multiple accounts.
Thanks,

Inappropriate?Still having the same problem.
Trying to check out "http://svn.ILoveJackDaniels.beanstalkapp.com/ilovejackdanielsdotcom" (exactly as typed) with my username and password. Same error.
I’m still hopeful.

Inappropriate?Hi Dave, keep up that hope :) We'll make sure this gets resolved. We are discussing a similar issue in our Campfire room. If you have a moment, you can follow the progress there.

Inappropriate?Dave,
Looks like we fixed the permissions error. Let me know if this still persists and we will continue to look into it.
Thanks for your patience.

Inappropriate?Hi, I seem to be having the same error as Dave has noted above. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Robert

Inappropriate?Hi Robert, Dave,
We had an issue with the way permissions were saving. Initially we thought it was a problem with Subversion, but it turns out it was just a bug in the code.
Please go through your repos and check permissions for each user. After reviewing that permissions are correct, try connecting again.
Thanks for your help.

Inappropriate?Works great. Thanks for the quick fix.

Inappropriate?Whew! Long day, glad it works.

Inappropriate?Sadly, not for me - same error. Could I be entering details wrong? Wrong address, something like that?

Inappropriate?Hi Dave,
Can you talk in Campfire? I will try to figure it out for you.

Inappropriate?Hi Robert, Dave,
We almost figured out the issues with your accounts and need to deploy the fix in the morning tomorrow. For now, you can try a temporary solution that "might" resolve the issue.
1. Login to your account
2. Click on the Users tab
3. Click on your name
4. Click save (without changing anything)
There is something going on with permissions in SVN, but when you save your profile, it will apply the proper settings again.
Give it a try. If it does not work, it will be fixed for sure tomorrow.
Thanks again for your patience.

Inappropriate?I seem to be having the PROPFIND issue as well. I just setup my account tonight. I followed the steps set forth in the post above:
1. Login to your account
2. Click on the Users tab
3. Click on your name
4. Click save (without changing anything)
However, I still receive the PROPFIND error.

It's no rush guys because I know it's Friday night and I'm the loser trying to setup an SVN repository. Let me know whenever.
I’m missing something

Inappropriate? It's working for me now. Thanks guys.

Inappropriate?I still have the error. Here is the error from svnX:

Inappropriate?Hi Michael,
Permissions issues were fixed a few days ago, but we have had two cases where there is a password mismatch, even though the password is correct.
So far, this looks like an issue with the version of the locally installed Subversion client. We are not sure, but would like to get more information to resolve it.
Can you tell me what version of Svn you are using?
Thanks,
Chris -
Inappropriate?svn, version 1.4.4 (r25188)
compiled Jun 23 2007, 08:53:30
I downloaded the Subversion controls from the Coding Monkey's site last night. I am using svnX, version 0.9.13. -
Inappropriate?I have fixed my problem. It seems that the pre-compiled svn executables that are included with svnX, the OS X Subversion client, are problematic when attempting to authenticate a connection with Beanstalk's servers. I installed Subversion (v.1.4.6) from scratch and everything worked.
I’m connecting to Beanstalk via svnX.
