Beatport doesn't allow you to acccess it's Contact page or Customer Support page without loggin in first.
But what happens when you're having a problem logging in? How are you supposed to get help. Wow, this is pretty lame.

Inappropriate?Having the same problem for the last month or so.....
I've been emailing them for a while now and haven't heard anything back. I placed an order of about 18-20 tracks and 7 tracks didn't download. Its around $12 which has been taken from my card. I know its not a lot of money but now I feel that they've stolen from me. I used and recommended them to other DJs on the Island a lot but this has really put me in a stink with the Beatport Company and the Customer Care Service, for not getting there SH#@ together!

Inappropriate?I used beatport for the first time 2 days ago, i ordered 26 tracks paid for them on my card, started downloading but 5 tracks didnt download, i've been emailing them since but haven't heard nothing from them, it seems they dont give a s**t as long as they got your money first, i definatley wont be using beatport again, nor will i ever reccomend beatport to any other DJs, this feels like ive been mugged, im gonna stick with the ministry of sound music download store and i reccomend other DJs do the same. http://www.mosdownload.com/ they have a bigger track selection, they are cheaper, you get 2 download attempts, their very proffesional and helpful, ive had one failed download with MOS, so i emailed them and within 5 hours they email me back and gave me another 6 download attempts, this is how beatport should start treating thier customers otherwise the'll all disappear, like me.

Emailing from gmail so I'm pretty sure my email is RFC compliant.
Tried to phone and just mailboxes, also sent a query via the website with now reply.
Bought about 80 songs in the past 2 weeks 9 are corrupt. Thieves. -
Inappropriate?Hey alex, well it seems we've both been had, i've still had no luck contacting them either, its not the money that's the issue for me as its only a very small amount (£6.70) its the fact they dont respond when you have a problem,MOS responded in double quick time when i had a problem dowloading one track, so why cant beatport do the same.
Alex i recommend you give the ministry of sound a try, i honestly dont think you'll be disappointed & you'll save money not lose it.

You actually have one of 2 options here. If you need to get in touch with support you can click on the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the site. I know some of you are having issues with redirection when you click this link however, so in this case you will want to send an email to: resetpassword@beatport.com noting the issue.
As far as the downloading issues go, please send in the track names and order number through the 'Contact Us' link to get your missing tunes. :) -

Inappropriate?That's understandable. The good thing about logging in is that the system stores all of your account information and previous correspondence. This helps us get your problem solved faster. And you can check to see if we've responded to you rather than waiting for an email reply which always has the possibility of getting lost somewhere.

this time i have good news, i had a reply from beatport this morning & i now have my missing tracks, however all this has put me off buying from beatport again, if other website can respond to customer's complaints within a day why can't beatport, 5 days is just not acceptable, so come on beatport sort out these problems because apart from these problems youv'e got a good website, but i still wont be back.
I will be back on this website to see how others are getting with the issues they have with beatport, and possibly with more complaints.

the last time i was here i said i would never use beatport again, but a dj friend of mine convinced me to give them another try so i did,
last night i bought 18 tracks from the beatport website at a cost of £26.82 i was expecting a couple of tracks to be missing, after download was complete, what i didn't expect was all 18 tracks to be missing, thats right £26.82 of my hard earned cash for nothing, a couple of tracks missing wouldn't have been so bad ,but my entire order, beatport are getting worse not better, their a joke, they are incompetent,unprofessional,& uncaring, especialy once they get your money.
They say it takes 24 to 48 hrs to respond to complaints, tell me beatport would you wait 24 to 48 hrs for payment!!! i think not.
"beatport" you should be called "be poor" because thats the kind of service people are getting, and we will all end up poor if this
mickey mouse company keeps taking our money.

Inappropriate?Well I've tried contacting Beatport on several occasions with no reply. I can't purchase any tracks from my account. All that comes up is the gateway fraud message. I've turned off the automatic purchase mode, there's not too many tracks in the check out basket at one time and all my cards are working fine. Plus I've tried the account on different machines and internet connections... no go!.
After spending almost £1000 on Beatport personally I expect better customer service than just being completely ignored.
I've ended up using www.Juno.co.uk instead. No problems there at all.

Support@beatport was turned off because we felt it wasn't an efficient way to communicate with our customers. There were too many chances of messages getting lost, etc... -
Makes sense. But it also seems like a good opportunity to provide users with some information in the form of an auto-reply; some sort of guidance, since in the absence of clear support guidance some people are likely to send Hail Marys to support@. (Or maybe it already does that already?) -
Thanks Laura. I found some response, unfortunately it only said I had too many tracks in the check out folder, but that's not the case, it happens with just one track in there. If there's any way you could take a look at my account I'd be very appreciative. Also tried the instant download mode with a credit card and that fails too unfortunately. -

It's nice to see there's some Beatport representation on this site. I also had problems with my Beatport account, went through rounds of emailing resetpassword@, with most of my emails going unanswered and without the problem ever being resolved. I ended up creating a new account with a different email address. It was horrible customer experience, but I was still willing to shop.
After my experience with the customer survey today though, I'll be trying some of the other services listed in this thread.

Inappropriate?I mistyped my password once too often and was locked out; I can't contact anyone to fix the problem, and the account email address sends nothing in return... even a simple acknowledgement that the email has been received would go a long way toward fixing the issue.
