Dave, this issue has been resolved. It was causing issues in both IE7 & IE6. Certain styles in both browsers still aren't rendered on the page properly. This is due to bugs in the browsers.
So the issue has been fixed!
One quick thing to mention. Microsoft has recently released version 8 of Internet Explorer, if at all possible, I would recommend upgrading. Not only for enhanced viewing on Budgety, but many other sites on the Internet as well.

Inappropriate?definitely! On most category entry fields, you'll see off to the right, a small pad &
Pencil icon. Click that and you'll be able to modify your categories to your hearts content!

The only pen and pad on my screen is to edit my income.
What I wanted to do was add titles to the shopping catagory or under Hobbies. For example adding a subheading "Golf"
I searched and clicked all over to find how to do this. No other pens and pads appeared next to the catagories or subheadings under the catagory.
I have an IMAC Os10.3.9 which I have added memory to recently.
I am using firefox 2.0.0.20 if that helps.
ALSO sometimes thin lines appear across the screen of the budget. They do not seem to have any effect on the calculations or transaction additions. So not really a problem for me but thought you might want to know.

When you click on the budgeted amount for a category, it brings up the "Edit Budget" window. You can find the edit icon (pen and pad) there.
When you click on "Add a Budget", you will see next to the "Category" field, an edit icon as well.

Inappropriate?I click on the small pad & pencil and I get a list of categories with the number of subcategories next to each one. When I click on a category to add or edit nothing happens. The cursor changes to a little hand but nothing happens.. -
Inappropriate?Hmmm, it's possible that there's a bug in the code for the browser that you're using.
Can you tell me what web browser (and version) you're using to access Budgety? I'm guessing Internet Explorer 6.0.
Once I know what browser you're using, I can attempt to fix it.
