I found a few services on my phone bill that I have never requested or subscribed to. I phoned Bell, and they removed the unwanted service and offered to provide a "package deal" for all of my services (and more) for substantially less money. I asked them a few times if everything would remain the same as is, and they firmly said "yes".

A day later my answering service was not taking messages, and when I logged in it asked for my NEW password. I called Bell right away, as there were a few very few important messages on the service that I did not want to loose. Customer service transfered me to the service department, and I asked if my messages would or already disappear if I reset my password. I asked this question a few times. They have told me that nothing would change. I logged back to my answering service and ALL the messages were gone. If I have received any new messages in the last day, they were gone for sure too.

Nobody warned me that me, canceling some absolutely non-related service to my answering service would wipe out all my messages. Nobody told me that they will RESET my whole answering service without my knowledge, and I will not be able to retrieve any messages or until I reset my password no-one would be able to leave me any messages. (Imagine if I would be away on a business trip with no working answering service at home....)

We have moved last Friday, August 15. Til today we do not have the bell line activated yet and they promised it'll be all up and running on friday itself. We have been calling BELL everyday, 4-5 times a day but in vain.........extremely unhappy and frustated.

I have had problems with my phone line and internet service with Bell since February customer service has been contacted numerous times I have sent a letter to management which I got no response from. After more calls I spoke to Patrick at the complaints department so it finally got fixed and he promised me he would follow up and he didn't. he promised me compensations and we didn't get it. Now our phone is having the same problem and our internet isn't working again. So we booked a service call and took a day off work last Friday and sometime in the late afternoon my husband called in to find out where the service man was. We were told oh we're not coming we're going to try to fix it outside which is something they tried to do three times the last service calls. I can't believe Bell is spending all of this money on a new "er" ad campaign to drum up new business. Maybe if they actually took care of the customers they already have they wopuldn't loose so much business. The whole situation is so frustrating I can't wait to switch to rogers!!!

When I signed up for Solo Mobile (Bell) I chose the e-bill, non paper option... I got the link in my e-mail to set up my account online. Problem: You need your account number and billing date to set up and view your bill. This info is found ON your bill. So I can't see my bill without providing information that is on the bill that I can't see. Frustrating. So I contacted Bell... They gave me the info. That's great, I'll go set it up. Entered all the info, and the web site told me that it's wrong. I called back, they verified the numbers.. I had them correct. I tried again. Still not working. I called back again. We verified numbers again, (this is fun!) I told her I've done that numerous times and it's not working. She said to e-mail bell... Someone can help me over e-mail, and they'll get back to me in one to two hours. That's great. That was a day ago. I really wish i could view my flippin' bill. I'm getting a little nervous... I've had this service for under a month and already the warning signs are there... Is this really how Bell works? (It doesn't?)

I was late in paying my phone bill and had my phone service cut. Fair enough. A week later, I received a letter threatening to cut off my service if I didn't pay. I wasnt impressed to receive a notice after the fact. I called the Bell credit dept and paid the bill. At the time I wasnt impressed and told them to not bother reconnecting the line. A month later, and I received another bill for services (not rendered). I let it go cuz I didnt want to contact them ever again. Next month another bill. When I called they said it was a technicial problem. They'd have to send a techie out. I said dont bother since I didnt want the service in the first place. It was supposed to be cancelled. According to them, the account was dormant because I didnt talk to the proper dept to "disconnect" the service. I wasnt going to be let off the hook for those months I had no service. The client service person said she didnt want to see me lose my months so I should have them send out a tech person to fix the connection. Forget that so not having a choice and concern over my credit rating, I paid 150.00 for no service. Rogers contacted me with an offer so I took it. They would take of contacting Bell to transer the service over. Two months of Rogers service and I am still receiving Bell Canada Invoices. WTF!!*#@

Bell has been stealing my money for the last 2 years. They have taken my money without providing the quality of service I signed up for.

I went for a 3 year contract at Christmas time back in 2004 and picked up two phones (Audivox CDM-8910BM) on a shared plan with my wife. In January of 2006 we started having problems with the phones with reception and battery life of both phones. In the middle of the city I would have to stand outside on my back porch to make phone calls. I could only talk with the phone plugged into the charger as the battery would last a maximum of 10 minutes. It was an unworkable situation that basically made the phone unusable for anything other than short conversations.

I contacted customer support at Bell in February 2006 in my first attempt to deal with the problem. I was told by the Bell customer service representive that the Audivox CDM-8910BM was the wrong phone for my area. When I asked why Bell would allow this to happen I was told this was the sales person's issue at the Bell store. I was perplexed by this response given that the Bell store is located in the same area I live in. Why would they have phones in stock that were not suitable for the area?

I jumped through a couple hoops including a software/firmware update to the phone and even changing the number. According to the Bell customer service not only was I using the wrong phone for my area but I was also using the wrong tower. Changing the number was supposed to make my reception better. It did not. After exhausting all of my options I called Bell back to fix the problem.

In March 2006 I contacted Bell to resolve the fact that I could not use my cell phone due to terrible reception and a faulty phone. I was told my only options were to 1) renew my contract for another three years, get new phones, AND pay a higher monthly rate OR 2) cancel the contract at $400 per phone ($800 in total). While talking to a manager I was rudely asked "What does it matter that you are having issues with your phone? You are not even using your phone." Pardon me? I explained, as politely as I could muster, that I was not using the phone because THE PHONE WAS BROKEN. The conversation finally boiled down to me asking if Bell would fix the problem so I could use the service I was paying for. A repetive circle ensued with me asking the manager for a "Yes" or "No" answer to my question and the manager telling me my two options. It was obvious that Bell was not going to fix the problem without taking more of my money.

I had no desire to be locked in for three more years at a higher monthly rate with Bell. Nor did I want to give Bell a lump sum of $800 to cancel a service that I could not use as I had originally intended. At this point the phones were delegated to "emergency use" in our vehicles each with a lighter power adapter. I decided to wait the contract out.

And now the day has come. My contract expires this month and I have ensured that my desire to NOT renew has been made clear to Bell. Bell has been taking my money for a service I reported broken almost two years ago. In total Bell has stolen $1,000 dollars from me since I reported the issue. When I requested they fix the problem their proposed solutions were to take more of my money. Bell trapped me in a terrible and frustrating contract and did not provide the service I signed up for. I will NEVER use Bell again.

This has been an ongoing problem that's only become worse as I've started using Twitter and other mobile apps. Needs to be fixed soon or I'll have to switch carriers.
