BELL Consumers beware!
I was late in paying my phone bill and had my phone service cut. Fair enough. A week later, I received a letter threatening to cut off my service if I didn't pay. I wasnt impressed to receive a notice after the fact. I called the Bell credit dept and paid the bill. At the time I wasnt impressed and told them to not bother reconnecting the line. A month later, and I received another bill for services (not rendered). I let it go cuz I didnt want to contact them ever again. Next month another bill. When I called they said it was a technicial problem. They'd have to send a techie out. I said dont bother since I didnt want the service in the first place. It was supposed to be cancelled. According to them, the account was dormant because I didnt talk to the proper dept to "disconnect" the service. I wasnt going to be let off the hook for those months I had no service. The client service person said she didnt want to see me lose my months so I should have them send out a tech person to fix the connection. Forget that so not having a choice and concern over my credit rating, I paid 150.00 for no service. Rogers contacted me with an offer so I took it. They would take of contacting Bell to transer the service over. Two months of Rogers service and I am still receiving Bell Canada Invoices. WTF!!*#@
