Do videos display under Linux [Ubuntu Linux 8.10 (Firefox 3.0.7 & Flash 10.0.22.87)]?
Big Think Clips play fine under Win XP (Firefox 3.0.7 & Flash 10.0.22.87) but don't play at all under Ubuntu Linux 8.10 (Firefox 3.0.7 & Flash 10.0.22.87). Linux videos display a 00.00 on both bottom corners. How do I get videos to play in Ubuntu Linux 8.10 (Firefox 3.0.7 & Flash 10.0.22.87)? All other flash video works fine in Ubuntu. Thanks

Inappropriate?Anthony,
Our video platform provider currently does not support Linux.
However, I checked again today, and the new player they are launching in the immediate future does support Ubuntu. I know there isn't much consolation, but I can tell you our lead developer (who works on Ubuntu) was frustrated with it as well and will be pestering them until it's ready.
I will send you a message when it's live. We are happy to see Linux growing in the consumer marketplace.
Sorry I don't have a better solution for you.
Cheers,
R
I’m anxiously waiting.
