This might not be a problem with *your* application, I agree. But there's also this odd discrepancy between the books being attributed as "finished" in the JSON and those on the Bkkeepr Web site:
My badge seems to be updating o.k.
So I wonder why:
1) the contents of the JSON differ from the Bkkeepr user page;
2) the dates on certain of the JSON entries are using a default. Is it the application I'm using? Timezone? Time format?
Would it be possible to edit title and author data? I have some books that seem to be only partially importing. For example, "The Stars My Destination" imported as "Stars: My Destination", which is kind of a strange adaptation of the actual title.
Is there a way we can delete an erroneous entry (when you forget you're reading two books, and don't use an ISBN for a bookmark, for example)? And also, could we 'follow' other readers who we know or are interested in, like a Flickr contact or Twitter follow? Sorry if others got there before me. Thanks - it's fun.
The bkkeepr badge showing all 'begin/start' messages as finishes, with 1 Jan 1970 dates
The is no problem with finish/end messages.

"bkkeepr" is a really difficult word to key into an SMS - what with double K, double E and PR using the same key. My ancient phone seems unable to learn new words so I have to type it in full each time. Please get a shorter twitter username!
I would like to be able to specify the time for an update as I don't always have access to twitter when I'm reading, for example when travelling and especially when on a plane. This would allow me to note the times myself and enter them later.
This may sound like too much effort for a person to put in, but I'm actually developing a mobile app for updating bkkeepr and so it would be possible for me to continue marking bookmarks in this and then have it upload them later.
(I realise you're aware of this already as I've contacted you directly but thought I'd add it here as I couldn't see an existing entry)
My bkkeepr badge isn't working! I've pasted it into my profile at http://www.bookcrossing.com/mybookshe... and the title text shows up for me, but nothing else.
The badge doesn't seem to be working properly at the moment. E.g., my most recent update is that I started a particular book, and that's how it appears on the bkkeepr site, but on my badge it claims I've finished it. Plus it gives a date for it of Jan. 1, 1970.
database problems - look at this book: bkkeepr has successfully retrieved the correct cover image, so the ISBN is right, and not obscure, but it's still 9780552772457 by somebody
I just noticed the praise option so I'm going to break with British tradition and tell you:
bkkeepr is a fantastic resource. Just simple, straightforward as a concept and to use, with good execution. Anyone would think the creator truly loved books or something ;)
I'd like to have an 'abandon' function, so that I can report to bkkeepr that I have abandoned a book (without finishing it). It should allow a page number and a commment.
The bkkeepr badge doesn't seem to be updating. (I've got it up at book-blog.com.) I've also tried loading the file -- http://bkkeepr.com/people/debra_hamel... -- and that's not updated either.
bkkeepr keeps logging books as the one I was reading two books ago. So I have now started and finished and started and finished and started the same book. What gives?
