Is a nice idea, but we feel there's plenty of places on the web you can go to review books if this is what you're after - all the places linked from the book pages, like LibraryThing, for example.

We're committed to keeping bkkeepr small and perfectly formed, so all our annotation is at the page level, and this is unlikely to change soon.

would really like this - even if it's short and sweet. "d bkkeepr 0670875619 finish Great book, Gibson at his best" would serve as a recommendation to friends... and you could present the micro-reviews on a page and link through to Amazon and earn some $ for recommendations ;)

I reckon you might enjoy BookCrossing.com - I'm linking to my journal entries in my bookmark notes. Admittedly, this is a little clumsier than what you're looking for, but BookCrossing is a great hobby.

think this would be a great feature. even if it's just a very simple annotation as suggested above (eg d bkkeepr ISBN begin # yes, I'm reading war and peace AGAIN!) it would add a personal touch
