Determine twitter location to update book details
As I'm from Germany, amazon.com doesn't have information about some of my books. And bkkeepr doesn't fill the information on my "recent" books page correctly. Maybe bkkeepr can get the location from my twitter account and try to determine the correct amazon source to fill book details.

Inappropriate? This is a pretty good idea, except that Twitter users don't use the location feature consistently (e.g. 'the universe', 'macclesfield', '13.23453425, -34.345235'), and location doesn't actually translate that well to language (e.g. just because someone's in London doesn't mean they're not German, reading German books).
I want to improve this service for non-English language users, and sadly a better way to do this will probably be to set up bkkeepr.de and the like - rather than trying to combine the services - but this is beyong my expertise and workload at the moment. I'm marking it as 'under consideration' for the moment so it stays on my nominal to-do pile, but honestly don't hold your breath.
Also more likely is to allow users to update their own book titles and authors if they're marked unknown - this is rather nearer the top of the pile...
Sorry you're having problems, and hope you continue to use the service.
I’m annoyingly anglocentric.

True, the parsing of the location thing would be really annoying. I'd do it in a simple approach and feed the location to a geolocator (maybe the Google thing) and see if there is a valid result coming back. If so, I'd take it and get the country information. If no valid result is there, I'd use the amazon.com stuff.
I read that you plan to setup real user profiles at some point in the future. That would help fix the language issues... ;-)
Anyway, setting up a bkkeppr.de would do it too. Maybe it's a simpler approach. If you need help translating your stuff, feel free to contact me. :-)
