Echo my bkkeepr entries back to my twitter stream
Suggestion: Echo my bkkeepr entries back to my twitter stream. I'd love to have my twitter followers see what I start/finish/quote, not necessarily what page I'm on I guess though.
But it seems a social networking shame that I have to go out to the bkkeepr site and search for my own updates. And putting the updates on my blog/site doesn't really help all that much. if you let me updae via twitter, why not also translate that back into twitter and post to my stream

Inappropriate?Hey - I like this idea, but there are a couple of issues with it.
Firstly, with Twitter's current woes, the API request limit is way down, and implementing this would double bkkeepr's API calls - which may then go over-limit. This isn't terminal though.
What's more difficult is that what you describe - basically, bkkeepr making tweets in your name - would require you handing over your Twitter login details to bkkeepr. This is not a responsibility we really want to take on. I alos don't think you should have to hand over your username and password without a very good reason, and I don't think quite justifies it.
It goes on the ideas pile though ;)
I’m happy

Inappropriate?I actually came here to post this same idea, so it gets my vote.
I am not a coder, but it sounds like something that a greasemonkey twitter script can handle. -
Inappropriate?hard to do, but interesting; imagine sticking a cover photo there, too. ...via twitpic? just doodles... :)
I’m happy

Inappropriate?I already do this by using TwitterFeed to feed my bkkeepr RSS back in to Twitter.

That's a rather good idea. I might suggest that to people :)
I’m impressed

this is one of the best points

Inappropriate?I've tried the TwitterFeed solution, but because of the format of the RSS feed from the page the tweet that gets posted ends up looking a little strange (see http://twitter.com/OffBeatMammal/stat... for example - the title is duplicated)
I’m amused

Inappropriate? When you create a new feed in twitterfeed, it gives you the option to include the title & description, or just the description. Do the latter, and you should be fine (see screenshot).
I’m confident it will work...

d'oh, looks like I missed that! Have changed the setting and will see what happens next time - thanks
